Brunei International Airport

The Brunei International Airport is the largest airport in the island of Borneo with a capacity to handle up to 3 million passengers per year connecting to both regional (ASEAN) and long haul (United Kingdom, Japan, Korea, Australia, UAE) destinations.

Radiant Engineering was selected as the top choice and awarded a contract by the Department of Civil Aviation under the Ministry of Transport & Info-Technology (then called Ministry of Communications) in April 2016 to manage certain aspects of the facility including:

  • Managing and operating the parking space comprising of 3 zones with a capacity of more than 2000 vehicles

  • Managing the manpower to carry out cleaning services for outdoor zones

  • Managing the security workforce for outdoor zones & assisting the Royal Brunei Police Force on any security matters on site

  • Managing the workforce in handling luggage trolleys both in landside and airside (restricted zone)

  • Maintenance of electrical fittings in designated outdoor zones

  • Maintenance of drainage systems in designated outdoor zones including lawn up-keeping for aesthetic purposes

In practice our role at the Brunei International Airport is more extensive where we often perform the role as the lost and found center helping airport visitors when they lost or misplaced their belongings. Also when there are VIP arrivals or departures our staff would assist the airport authorities in ensuring smooth traffic within the airport compound.
